Airtable custom extensions are a powerful tool that allows users to tailor their Airtable experience to meet their specific needs. These extensions can be created using JavaScript and HTML, giving users the ability to add new functionality and features to their Airtable bases.
Custom extensions can range from simple widgets to complex applications, offering endless possibilities for customization. Users can connect their custom extensions to external APIs, automate tasks, visualize data in new ways, and much more.
With Airtable custom extensions, users can take their Airtable bases to the next level by integrating unique tools and functionalities that streamline their workflows and improve productivity. Whether creating a simple calculator or a full-fledged project management tool, custom extensions can enhance the overall user experience within Airtable.
PROJECT (PDF Generation)
I built a custom extension in Airtable with React and TypeScript, this extension using the API (PDF Generator) to take the base records along with an HTML template to generate invoice for the user. The extension serves an example of bridging two platforms together to enhance the Airtable platform.
